Our commitment

Ave Maria Waterworks wants everyone to be able to learn about our services, read our guides, and request a quote independently. We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA on www.avemariawaterworks.com.

We do not claim that every page is fully conformant at all times. Accessibility is ongoing work. If something on this site is in your way, please tell us — we will work to fix it.

What we do

Pages are designed and maintained with features that support a range of abilities and assistive technologies, including:

  • A skip link to move past repeated navigation
  • A page language of English and a clear heading structure
  • Landmark regions for the banner, navigation, main content, and footer
  • Visible focus styles and full keyboard access to navigation, forms, and the booking dialog
  • Labels on form fields, and error or success messages that stay on screen
  • Text contrast that meets WCAG AA, including text that sits on photographs
  • Descriptive alternative text on informative images, and empty alternative text on decorative images
  • Respect for reduced-motion preferences

Compatibility

This website is intended for use with current browsers, keyboard navigation, and common screen readers. We do not offer a separate mobile app. This statement covers www.avemariawaterworks.com only.

How we check

We self-evaluate against WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Automated scans (axe-core, WCAG 2.1 A and AA rules) run on our pages, and we test keyboard access to the navigation, contact form, and booking dialog. Automated tools do not catch every failure, so we also welcome reports from people using the site.

Known limitations

We have not yet completed a full assistive-technology review with VoiceOver and NVDA on every page. If a screen reader, magnification, or other assistive technology does not work with a page, that is a barrier we want to know about.
